iODBC Data Source Administrator

When you start iODBC, the System Data Sources currently defined in the system are shown.
Only System DSN are available since AmigaOS is not a multi user OS at moment.
Within the System DSN Tab it is possible to add, remove, configure and test the DSN connections to the databases. The Name column shows the DSN name, while the Description and the Driver columns show the DSN description and the Driver used respectively.

With the ADD button it is possible to add a new connection to one of the current available drivers.
You must insert all parameters to configure the DSN correctly. Refer to the Add a new DSN connection section for all details and to the driver manual for all available parameters.

With the Remove button it is possible to remove the selected connection from the ODBC.

With the Configure button it is possible to configure the selected connection from the ODBC. Also in this case refer to the Add a new DSN connection section for all details and to the driver manual for all available parameters.

The Test button allow to test the selected ODBC entry. Refer to the Test a DSN connection section for all details.

The ODBC Driver tab folder will show you which ODBC drivers are installed in the system giving you also some other useful informations like their version.

The About tab folder instead will show you which ODBC components are installed in the system.
